ARCH CHAIR is Martin Hirth's filigree idea of a leather armchair. Its archetypal appearance is formed by the austere lines of its structure and its expanse of taut leather. Due to the shape of the metal bows the chair bounces slightly when sat on, offering high comfort. The tanned cowhide. The seat's special suspension offers different seating positions and adapts to the individual body. At the arm-and-backrests the leather is folded back and sewn in the color of the leather. Natural leather always has a distinct character. It is soak-dyed and its edges are left open. The slender bows and the round base are made of matt powder coated steel and can be turned to each other. ARCH CHAIR is versatile, invites to linger over your book or to dream and will soon become your favorite place. (c)
